Home, Or Small Office Being Built? We Are Geared Up & Ready For Any New Construction Project!
Our main objective at Service Circuits is to provide all of our customers with reliable, quick, solution based service. We carry that through our innate ability to provide excellent work on service calls, to taking on any new build home or small office construction. Over 16 years of electrical experience, we have wired countless new homes from custom, high end, to track style homes. We provide exuberant time and effort into making your project everything that you have dreamed of having, plus more!
We accept offers to bid on projects in our area routinely. Our bids are always honest, fair, and upfront about the cost involved for the scope of work provided on the bid. The only time the price alters from that is when the customer, or General Contractor has changes they want made from the original bid plan. Even then, we will always do our absolute best to provide a down to the penny cost prior to engagement in any work. We want the choice to always be in your hands with the cost to go along with it.
We also are very ingenuitive with many different types of lighting design and system design depending on the type of home we are working on. Many times we have engineers redo plans based off of our suggested level of expertise and lighting design expertise. New products are introduced to the market constantly that sometimes only a detailed electrical contractor would know about. For that reason, we always have an open mind to your needs and wants as well as providing suggestions if warranted.
Make sure you do your research on who you choose to send your project out to bid with before just calling around and grabbing out of a hat. Contact them, interview the owner to find out what their specialty is, and determine if they even sound like it would be something that would fit with your project. There are a lot of contractors in our area, and some only specialize in commercial and industrial. Therefore they may not be the best fit for your new home construction. There are others that are residential based and would be a better fit for you. Ask them about their pricing model, if they will share with you prior to receiving the blue prints for bid. Maybe you find you are not comfortable with a time and material contractor as much as you are with one that is upfront with the price from the beginning. So make sure to ask these critical questions to determine who you CHOOSE to be privileged to bid on your new home.
Being fully licensed and insured is a must to ask anyone you may have bidding on your new project. You may be surprised to find a “licensed” electrician that will do your job for half the cost of another company, who is not just carrying a Master Electrician’s license along with a contractor’s license. Also not carrying what is most important if the going were to get rough. They don’t carry general liability insurance. Many times in the past, we have observed truly unlicensed personnel take on a project as a “side job”, and never fully disclosing to the homeowner that they in fact are uninsured… and then something happens. All of a sudden it is like the person no longer exists, doesn’t answer the phone, can’t find contact information, and you are left with the bag for allowing someone of that stature to work on your property. Usually these types will want paid in cash only with no paper trail. So be aware, be smart, make the best selections you can, and let the best outcome for yourself win!
